COMPUTE PARTICLE SYSTEM

Proof of concept of a particle system built using a GLSL compute shader.
Includes a billboard geometry shader to render the particles.
Mainly meant for education purposes, though use it in any project you like.
Note, GLSL 4.3 required to be able run the compute shader.
(this also means it does not work on a Mac)

Very nice example, fairly straightforward to follow along with the code too and see what you’ve done. Perfect example…not as complex as the palette GPU particles example.
